OUR HISTORY
The adventure of public padel began in 1992 with the first of 17 editions of the Open de France de Padel at Place du Capitole in Toulouse, France…
In 2000, our leaders, members of the FIP, were entrusted with organizing the 5th Professional Padel World Championship in France. It was the first edition held outside of Spain and Argentina.
Today, we are taking this sport far beyond our borders… Our journey with padel continues.

2000 – 5th World Championship in Toulouse, France.

2017 – 1st European Padel Club Cup, Toulouse Padel Club wins at home.
Eight clubs participated, each represented by two men’s pairs and one women’s pair.

2018 – Casa Padel Paris, the host club, wins.
16 clubs participated, including Team Bull Padel.

2019 – Valencia hosts the 3rd edition of the European Padel Club Cup.
18 clubs participated, with Team KELME emerging as the winner. For the first time, African clubs from Egypt and Morocco were accepted. The European Padel Club Cup would later give way to the International Padel Club Cup.

OUR VALUES
AECP is unique because its sole purpose is to ensure that clubs can represent all levels of Padel, including those who wish to play Padel as a codified game without seeking a ranking. The motto of Baron Pierre de Coubertin fits us perfectly: “The important thing is to participate,” to which AECP adds, “in the best conditions, with the best spirit, and the will to surpass oneself.”
-
Defend the colors of your club, city, region, and country…

INTERNATIONAL PADEL CLUB CUP
“The most professional of amateur competitions”
October 3-6, 2024 – Manantiales Club, Alhaurín de la Torre
International Padel Club Cup
Annual Competition Since 2016
-
International: Clubs and/or selections come from multiple countries and continents.
-
Clubs: The heart of Padel – we primarily go through them to select players, though it is not mandatory!
-
Padel: The sport we chose in 1987.
“The Most Professional of Amateur Competitions”
Since 2016, we have continuously improved our communication, sports regulations, offers, and services. The host city, Málaga—“The World Capital of Padel”—along with its club, boasting 13 to 20 courts and a central court, has been widely recognized by participating clubs and players.
Amateurs
All participants are amateurs who do not earn a living from tournament prizes. For most of them, the International Padel Club Cup is the only opportunity to represent their club or country.
Over 3 days, players will compete in 5 matches against clubs and players from different nationalities and skill levels. Each participant will benefit from on- and off-court assistance, a privilege usually reserved for professional players.
